Yesterday marked a significant milestone for The Hatchere as we celebrated our 1st Anniversary with The Hatchere Innovation Showcase 2026.

Held under the theme "Turning Ideas Into Real Products", the showcase brought together representatives from the Ministry of Digital, the Penang State Government, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), alongside industry leaders, entrepreneurs, engineers, manufacturers and ecosystem partners to explore how ideas can be transformed into commercially viable products through product incubation, engineering excellence and collaboration.

The event was made even more meaningful as we celebrated our first anniversary following our recent recognition as Penang's first newly approved Malaysia Digital (MD) Hub focused on Product Innovation & Commercialisation – an important milestone in our journey to connect global opportunities with Malaysia's engineering expertise and manufacturing capabilities.

An AI-enabled parenting technology platform developed through collaboration between Singaporean and Malaysian companies, evolving towards a smarter feeding experience for modern families.

Open Sea Tracker

United States Collaboration • Patent Pending

A maritime safety and tracking solution developed through collaboration between a U.S. company and The Hatchere, demonstrating how international opportunities can be translated into manufacturable products through engineering development, prototyping, manufacturing and testing.

Developed in Penang • Patented

A locally developed product showcasing Penang's capability in original product development and commercialization.
